•
In general, large meat pieces have an higher cooking
time per kilo compared to small pieces.
•
Cooking time changes even depending on the food
quantity on the grid: higher the food quantity, higher
the necessary cooking time.
•
Foods cooked in vats, like baked beans, will require an
higher cooking time if cooked in high edge saucepan
compared to a normal pan.
•
Remove excessive grease from steaks, ribs and e roasts,
leaving no more than 6,4mm of grease. A minor quan-
tity of grease makes cleaning easier and guarantees al-
most the total absence of uncontrolled flames.
•
Foods placed directly on the grid over the burners
could have to be flipped or moved in a less hot point.
•
Flip or move meat using tongs instead of a fork, in or-
der to avoid that natural juices get lost.
•
Use two palettes to move large whole fishes.
•
In the event that an uncontrolled flames is produced,
turn off all of the burners and move food in another
point of the cooking grid. The flame will lower immedi-
ately. After the flame lowered, turn the barbecue back
on.
ADVICES
NEVER TRY TO EXTINGUISH FLAMES WITH
WATER.
•
For some foods, including those in a casserole or thin
fish fillets, a container will be necessary for their cook-
ing.
•
Disposable aluminium pans are really convenient, but
it’s possible to use every other saucepan equipped
with heat resistant handles.
•
Use the lateral burner as a normal one.
•
In the event that the barbecue should lose heat during
cooking, please see the “POSSIBLE INCONVENIENCES”
chapter.
Do not move the gas barbecue during use
or when it’s hot.
