REPLACING THE INCAL MECHANISM 

 

The InCal Mechanism may need to be replaced because it is physically broken or displays an error 
code.  

Note: Pioneer PJX Series Load Cells are not serviceable in the field due the special tools and test 
conditions required to ensure that it is working properly. No spare parts are available for the Load 
Cell Module. 

 

Disassembly: 

1.  Open the balance – see Section 3.2.  

2.  Take out the load cell – see Section 3.3. 

3.  Remove two black plastic caps by pliers, then lift out the weights. 

  

 

4.  Remove the InCal Mechanism by removing the screw at rear of LC plate.
