CD  Indicators

4.4 Parts  Counting

Parts Counting is 

enabled only  

when Count is turned ON in the Mode submenu under Setup and selected with the

Mode 

button.  In the parts counting mode, the Indicator displays the quantity of parts you place on the pan. Since the

Indicator determines the quantity based on the average weight of a single part, all parts must be reasonably uniform in
weight.

Procedure

• Press the 

Mode

 button.

• Press  

 or 

 button until COUNT is displayed.

• Press 

Enter

 button to save setting, PUT>PAN 10 PC

is displayed (default setting), Indicator will retain last
sample size saved.

• Press

  Tare 

if taring is required.  Container can be

tared anytime during operation; container on scale,
press 

Tare

 button.  When Tare was entered, display

always shows NET weight (G/N/T button disabled).

• Press 

 or 

 button and select sample size.

Sample size is 5 to 1000 pieces.

• Place sample size on the pan.

• Press 

Enter

 button to continue, display indicates

WORKING.

Indicator displays the reference weight of an individual
piece part for 5 seconds and then displays the total
number of pieces on the pan.

• Remove the sample and place parts to be counted on

the pan.  Indicator displays number of pieces.

• To return to weighing mode, press 

MODE

 button,

COUNT is displayed.

• Press  

  button until WEIGH is displayed, then

press

 Enter 

button.  Indicator is now in a weighing

mode.
