CAUTION
WARNING
1. Do not cover or clog the motor air vents as this may cause the motor to overheat, resulting in
smoke, fire and explosion.
2. This tool is a hydraulic tool powered by electricity. When the temperature is low, hydraulic oil may
become solid and tool cannot perform well. Idle tool for a few minutes before use.
3. As the oil reservoir was filled before delivery, do not add oil unless the tool works abnormally.
4. When using an extension cord with the charger, it is recommended to use a cord with the cross
section below and with a length as short as possible. For charging outdoors, use a cab tyre exten-
sion cord.
1. Attach blades securely and according to the Instruction Manual. Loose or wrongly fitted
blades may cause injury.
2. Check for the presence of persons below you when working in an elevated position. Any
material or tools dropped may cause an accident.
3. Do not operate or store tool in explosive atmosphere (where flammable liquids, gases or fire
are present).
4. Keep hands and face away from blades and cutting area.
5. Release trigger switch immediately to stop operation when tool is out of order or makes
abnormal sound. Have it inspected and repaired by authorized service centre.
6. Metal cutting blades have sharp edges. Handle them carefully to avoid being cut.
7. Place the rebar so that it is fully between the blades, when cutting.
8. Never cut off pieces of rebar which are less than 200 mm in length, as flying fragments can
cause serious injury.
9. Do not use the tool in damp area or where it may become wet.
10. Use only Ogura genuine blades.
11. Damaged, deformed or cracked blades may cause serious accidents as well as impair opera-
tion. Replace with new genuine blades immediately.
