Maintenance & checks

A periodical check of the tyre pressure may help to keep Easybike efficient,
since a flat tyre require unnecessary extra pushing power. Verify the tyre
pressure according to the value marked on the tire (indicatively the
maximum pressure for high pressure wheels is from 7.5 up to 9.0 BAR
according with the tire model).
o
In case of air transport, it is recommended to decrease the tyre pressure.
o
If for transport purpose the fixing arms are removed, it is suggested to mark
some references for a quick re-assembly. Please refer to “Matching the
EASYBIKE with the wheelchair” section for re-assembling.
o
Carefully clean and verify the good functioning of the gear shift at least
every three months.
o
Verify periodically all fixation screws and clamps to ensure the safe use of
the device at any time.
o
At least every three months, carefully clean the unicycle and lubricate
especially the crank set, sprocket, chain of the Easybike.
o
Before any trip, please check the brake efficiency.
o
It is recommended to refer only to authorized and qualified personnel to
perform extraordinary maintenance programs, adjustments, and
components replacement on the Easy-bike.
