19.1 Operating Instructions for the Beam Splitter
Swing in the Beam Splitter Optic
The beam splitter optic couples out the light for the video recording from
one of the two beam paths.
The respective beam path thus loses brightness. The beam splitter optic
can therefore be swung out when no recording is being made.

To do this, actuate the lever (1).
“IN” = Beam splitter lens swivelled in, ready for capturing images or
recording videos.
Set the Shutter
The rotary knob (1) is used to adjust the shutter of the objective lens. The
depth of focus of the image can thus be changed. Turn the knob clockwise
to open the shutter and let more light into the camera. The depth of focus
simultaneously decreases.
