Enter the reference lengths

Open single screen mode, sect. 11.3, page 28 .

Open the ruler image with the lowest magnification, in this case 6x
magnification.

ImageCam® 3 Program > Tools > Estimate distance

Click on the left mouse button to set the starting point in the image.

Drag the line 10 mm.
10 mm are set as the reference distance. Depending on the
magnification at which the image was captured, you can change the
reference distance to 5 mm.

Click on the white cross at one end of the line with the right mouse
button. The following window is displayed (example):

Select [new].
