Instruction Manual Easygraph

7.5.3.2.6 Using Hecht Fitting Software / [Hecht CL]

A special lens fitting program is available from the
Hecht company for fitting Hecht contact lenses. This
program calculates suggestions for contact lenses on
the basis of measurements of corneal geometry and
in accordance with the fitting rules of the Hecht
company.

This software is accessible via the

[Hecht CL]

button

(see Figure on page 49).

Now a lens can be selected in the Hecht software.
This done, click the

[Fluo. image]

button to exit the

Hecht software. The OCULUS software will then run
another fluo image simulation.
Closing the window directly circumvents a renewed
calculation of the fluo image.

Ö

To change the geometric data of a Hecht

lens you always first have to click the

[Hecht CL]

button. For this reason selecting a contact lens in the
Hecht software deactivates the relevant input fields in
the OCULUS software. This is to ensure that a
contact lens in the Hecht software can be altered by
none other than the Hecht software. The input fields
are reactivated as soon as you enter a new contact
lens suggestion or select a different manufacturer.

Furthermore the Hecht company offers a lens fitting
software “Hecht Expert”. With this the contact lens
geometry can be defined more detailed.
