Viewing OS2 Interface on Older Screens

5.5 Viewing OS2 Interface on Older Screens

The OS2 16:9 interface is down-sized and centered to fit on 4:3 legacy screens. Therefore, viewing the OS2 interface
on older screens causes a letterbox effect (whereby black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen as shown
below). This is

expected behavior

to maintain UI aspect ratio and should not be interpreted as a defect. Older

screens are 15, 17, and 19 inches with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
