Use and Maintenance Manual

PAPI

29

Check the replacement lamp is identical to the lamp to be replaced.

Insert the lamp in the correct orientation indicated through references. Do not force the lamp

during insertion.

Do not touch the halogen lamp with bare hands.

If the lamp is touched with bare hands, before proceeding with installation, clean the bulb

with a lens cleaning wipe soaked in isopropyl alcohol.

Carefully dry the bulb before proceeding with assembly.

Insert the new lamp and connect the cables to the power connectors respecting the original connections.

Reassemble the unit and carry out the verification of the light beam.
