where the M angle is equivalent to the approach angle minus 2 minutes of arc. The approach angle depends on
the installation type:

Airfield:
(angle referred to the second unit on the side of the runway)

Airfield with ILS system (Instrument Landing System):
(angle referred to the second
unit on the side of the runway)
●
Airfield with MLS system (Microwave Landing System):
(angle referred to the second
unit on the side of the runway)
●
Helipad:
(angle referred to the left side, from the point of view of the pilot
approaching)
