#SELECT MEDIA

Select the media number of media to be registered or parameter-corrected.
#RENAME MEDIA
>XX:YYYYYY
Name (register) the media number selected in [SELECT MEDIA]. Six (6) digits of character (or code) can
be entered for the media name. For character string of 6 digits, codes, alphanumerics and katakana
characters can be used.
#MEDIA ADV VALUE
>XX:YYY.YY%
Set MEDIA ADVANCE VALUE. Set the advance value so that the banding (horizontal stripes of path
splicing) is not visible.
#USE EDGE GUARD
>XX:YES
Select whether to use the media edge guard or not. With this setting, the right and left margins of
media vary.
#MEDIA ADV MODE
>XX:FWD ONLY
Select a media advance mode.
#MEDIA BACK MODE

Select a media advance mode.

Select the force (air volume of fan) to suck the media to the platen.

Adjust the print head height.

Select whether to automatically correct the print quality or not.

To keep the print head condition, select a cleaning mode which is automatically performed by the
printer.

Set the back adjust value of media. This value is used to correct the splice of two images divided by the
auto-cleaning (PH CLEANING [MODE2] performed during printing.
#PH REST PERIOD

Scanning of the print head rests at every certain print length during printing. Set this time period to
prevent nozzle-out of the print head. Normally, set it to [0000CYCLES].
#PH REST TIME

Corresponding to [ PH REST PERIOD], set the scan rest time. When [0] is set for [PH REST PERIOD], this
parameter is ignored. Set this rest time to prevent nozzleout of the print head. Set it to [10 sec] as a rule
of thumb.
#BIDIR ADJ2 L CCC

The reciprocating correction adjusts the shift between two ways of bidirectional print. With this menu,
correction values for print modes (NORMAL1, NORMAL2, QUALITY and DENSITY2) are set.

The reciprocating correction adjusts the shift between two ways of bidirectional print. With this menu,
correction values for print modes (DRAFT1) are set.
#BIDIR ADJ4 L XXX

The reciprocating correction adjusts the shift between two ways of bidirectional print. With this menu,
correction values for print mode (FINE DRAFT1) are set.
