Océ CS 4040/4050 Installation Manual

Switch 7. Force boot start up:

If a malfunction occurs during an update of the

scanner firmware, this switch forces the scanner into firmware boot mode,
enabling you to download the firmware again.

Switch 8. Continuous test mode:

You should never use this switch, which is

reserved for testing only by qualified maintenance personnel. The scanner is
inaccessible.
