Then you can fasten the battery box to the wall underneath the wash basin with screws.
Please also observe the points "Before first use" and "Method of functioning".
Inserting the batteries
Unscrew the 4 screws of the cover. Place the 4 AA A alkaline batteries in
the right direction and screw the cover back into place.
If the batteries need to be changed, make sure that they are inserted within
5 minutes after removing the old batteries. This prevents the original sys-
tem data from being deleted.
Please do not use batteries of a different age, strength or manufacturer.
Before first use
Cleaning the sensor display
Clean the sensor with a soft cloth before first use.
Functional test and automatic sensor adjustment
After connecting the fitting to the power supply, a functional test is initiated.
It is normal that the open and close noise of the water converter is heard.
The optimum zone for the sensor range is adjusted during the functional
test. Please make sure that there are no foreign objects in front of the sen-
sor, otherwise the sensor zone will be automatically reduced. The self-
adjustment phase may take up to 3 minutes.
Method of functioning
Opening and closing the water supply
When the hands reach the sensor zone, the water is automatically switched
on within approx. 0.5–1 seconds. The water stops running approx. 0.5–
1 seconds after the hands have left the sensor zone.
The water supply closes automatically if the hand washing time exceeds 1
minute or the sensor detects an object. As soon as the hands or the object
are removed, the water flow starts again after approx. 10 seconds.
Warning
Do not use acid-based cleaning agents.
