How to use the rice cooker
• Unpack the appliance and remove all packing material. Wash up the
removable bowl, the lid, spoon and measuring cup and dry. Never immerse
the plug, cord or appliance in water or other liquid.
• To get a fluffy and non-sticky rice, rinse the rice in water before cooking.
• Remove the bowl from the inner pot and measure the desired amount of
rice (minimum 1 cup raw rice) with the measuring cup and add into the bowl.
Add the right amount of water to the corresponding level in the bowl, see
table further ahead. Make sure the rice is evenly spread in the bottom of the
bowl before you switch on the appliance.
• Put the bowl back and turn it clockwise and anti clockwise a few times to
make sure it’s positioned correctly. If the bowl is not positioned correct, the
appliance will not work and it might also get damaged. Put the glass lid on
top. Do not use the appliance without the glass lid since the result might be
affected.

Important!
Check that the bowl is properly positioned and pushed down
before you start the cooking, so that the bowl gets in contact with the
heating element.
• Never use the bowl if it has become dented or damaged in any way.
• Start the cooking by connecting the plug to wall socket. Push down the
function-control and the red lamp ”cook” will go on.
• When the cooking is done, the function button will automatically rise and the
green “keep warm” lamp will light.
• Remove the lid and stir the rice by means of the spoon. Put the lid back
on and leave the rice on the keep-warm function for about 10 minutes for
absorption of possible liquid.
• Do not use metallic utensils in the bowl as they will damage the non-stick
coating.
• The rice may can be in the keep-warm mode for up to 5 hours without
affecting the taste, but if you cook only minimum amount of rice, it may get
dry and burnt.
To shut off the automatic keep-warm function, unplug the appliance.
Remove the bowl (use oven gloves) and serve the rice. Leave the bowl to
cool completely before cleaning.
• Do not touch the function button during use.
Cleaning
Unplug from wall socket. Let appliance and attachments cool down before
cleaning.
Wash up the bowl, glass lid, spoon and measuring cup in hot water and
washing up liquid. Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher.
Don’t use any scratching cleaning agents or utensils, since they may damage
the non-stick coating. Use only plastic or wooden spatulas. If the rice has
