OVERLAPPING THE ZONES
One other way of using the LIMITS ( Parameters
O
and 3) is to set
the MIDI Note Number for each ZONE so that the
"O
LEFT UPPER
LIMIT" is set to a higher number than the "3 RIGHT LOWER LIMIT".
As
an example, set the
"O
LEFT UPPER LIM IT" Note Number to
72
and the "3 RIGHT LOWER LIMIT" Note Number to
60.
The
overlap occurs from Notes
60
through
72
as this octave is shared
by both ZONEs.
STORING A SPLIT
After you have s0t up a SPLIT to be just the way you want it, don't
forget to STORE it. The procedure is the same as in storing
PATCHES but the difference is that you must be in the NUMBER
Mode of the SPLIT SELECT Page. Press and hold STORE. While
you are holding down STORE, type in the 2-digit SPLIT Number
on the Keypad. Your SPLIT program is now stored in memory.
