2.2 Installation
The meter must be connected according to the wiring diagram, which you will find in the
terminal cover of the meter. Examples of wiring diagrams can be found on page 8.
The directly connected model of the DHZ can be connected on the output side to a 3- or
4-phase busbar with left-side N connection. The busbars are suitable for equipment from
AEG, Hager, Siemens, Moeller and Geyer.
Meters for direct connection must be protected by a 63 A input fuse; meters connected to
transformers in the voltage path with < 10 A. The control input must be protected with a
0.5 A input fuse.
To protect the DHZ from unauthorized access, it can be sealed with a lead seal (see
page 12).
The inputs for the current and voltage lines and for the control input and the impulse
output are located on the top of the meter.
