OM13260 Mounting Hardware

To prevent damage to the table surface it is recommended that metal hardware (supplied in the kit) is
installed in the four mounting holes. This raises the PCB assembly about 6mm. See figure 4.3

Note: Save the completed Fm+ Development Board, now install the NXP USB Driver

NXP USB Driver Installation

The Win7/64 OS (Operating System) will attempt to auto-install a driver when the Fm+ Development Board is
attached by USB for the first time. However, this is not the required driver to operate with the NXP GUI. Most
likely you will see the error message shown in Figure 4.4.

The following four steps must be completed:

1.

Attach the completed Fm+ Development Board (OM13260) to the computer via USB cable
(supplied in the kit)

2.

Using the Device Manager, remove the default USB driver

3.

Select the driver supplied in the NXP GUI distribution

4.

Install the correct driver using the Windows installer
