Performing a Gang or Dub Switch (Multi-Destination Mode)
For this function, destination selections act as toggles and are cumulative (not mutually
exclusive), and destination selections are retained after a take. To allow gang or dub
switching (i.e., holding destinations) of multiple destinations at the same time with the
same source:
1. Ensure the [X-Y/Mult] button is in Multi-Destination mode (amber).
2. Press [Hold]. The previously selected destination remains selected.
3. Use [1] - [8] to deselect a previously selected unwanted destination and to select
new destinations. As a destination is selected (toggled On), its preset field is
cleared.
4. Select the source:
a. Press [Src]. All buttons appropriate for source selection go On in low intensity
green.
b. Press [(category)] (for example, VTR). VTR appears in the middle of Column
1.
c. Press [(number)]. The selected number for the device appears in Column 1.
The preset will appear in Column 2 on the lines of the selected destinations.
5. Press [Take] to complete the switch.
If [Hold] is pressed again (toggled Off), selected destinations are retained only until
[Take] is pressed. The panel then returns to switching one destination at a time with no
destination selected. After [Hold] is toggled Off, selected destinations are also retained
until a destination button is pressed.
