NV9601 SALVO DESCRIPTION
The following discusses how to create, save, and clear local salvos and how to execute
system and local salvos. Note that execution of a one-time salvo in the Multi-
Destination mode is covered in NV9601 Operating Procedures.
Create, Save, and Clear a Local Salvo
To create, save, and clear a local salvo, press [5] (Salvo) from the Menu display. This
opens the Salvo menu display similar to the one shown below. Line selection buttons
[1], [2], [4], [5] and [8] light. Items in the Salvo menu are described below. See
“Executing a Salvo” later in this section for information about executing a saved salvo.
Start Salvo Record - Press [1] to begin recording commands which will be executed
when this salvo is selected. When the salvo is executed, all recorded commands will
execute. Note that a local salvo must be recorded and saved to be available for
selection. Salvos are functional within and across X-Y and Multi-Destination modes.
When this item is active, the menu changes to Stop Salvo Record. Commands are

Note: Salvos created and saved by this function are local salvos. They are executed solely
by this panel and only this panel can delete (clear) them. System salvos are created by the
System Administrator and cannot be altered at the panel. Local salvos are retained when
the panel is restarted.
