Saving Presets (X-Y Mode)
The Save Presets feature allows you to save preset devices and level mappings for the
current destination for switching to other destinations. [Save Prst] can be configured to
default On (bright green) in the NV9601 Configuration Editor. To use the feature:
1. Ensure the [X-Y/Mult] button is in X-Y mode (green).
2. Select a destination.
3. Select a source:
a. Press [Src]. All buttons appropriate for source selection go On in low intensity
green.
b. Press [(category)] (for example., VTR). VTR appears in the middle of Column
1.
c. Press [(number)]. The selected number for the device appears in Column 1.
The presets will appear in Column 2 on the lines of the selected levels.
4. Press [Save Prst].
5. Press [Take] to switch the preset device and level mappings to the destination.
6. Select another destination. The same preset devices and level mappings will apply
to that destination if the levels are in the new destination’s level set.
7. Press [Take] to perform the next switch.
8. Repeat destination selections and takes as desired.
9. When you are finished using the saved presets, press [Save Prst] to turn it off, and
then press [Clear Prst] to clear all presets.
