7.5 PRIVACY MASK (ZONE NO., ENABLE, MASK TONE, CONTROL AREA)
Specific areas of the camera frame can be masked, or concealed for privacy. The Inte
-
grated camera offers masking of up to 4 unwanted areas.
Programming the PRIVACY MASK
1.
Highlight the ENABLE option, then turn the PRIVACY MASK function ON.
2.
Scroll down to the MASK SIZE, then press the [
u
] RIGHT key to enter its sub-menu.
3.
Adjust the size AND location by increasing or decreasing the values on the TOP, LEFT,
RIGHT, and BOTTOM fields using the [
p
/
q
] UP or DOWN keys.
Adjusting the Location/Size of the Mask:
Don’t attempt to adjust the size then
move the mask. Rather, make the MASK large enough to cover the entire unwanted
area then adjust the size appropriately by switching to the other set (side) of controls.
4.
Repeat steps 2-3 as many times as necessary to conceal all the unwanted areas.
