4. AE SETUP (Automatic Exposure)
The AE Control function is used to control the Iris, Shutter, AGC (Gain), DSS (Slow
Shutter), and BRIGHTNESS. It can also be set to AUTO (recommended) or one of 3
other pre-configured settings. The pre-configured settings are as follows: AUTO,
SHUTTER (Shutter Priority), IRIS (Iris Priority), or MANUAL.
4.1 MODE (AUTO, SHUTTER, IRIS, MANUAL)
• AUTO:
The AUTO mode will continuously monitor changes in the lighting intensity and
automatically adjust the Shutter, Iris, and AGC (Gain) to the most optimal level.
• SHUTTER:
Make your Shutter adjustments here. Once modified, this value remains
fixed. The Iris, and AGC cannot be changed while in this mode.
• IRIS:
Make your Iris adjustments here. Once modified, this value remains fixed. The
Shutter, and AGC cannot be changed while in this mode.
• MANUAL:
The Iris, Shutter, and AGC (Gain) can be controlled manually. The setting
values are fixed and will not deviate once assigned a specific value.
