Installation and commissioning

The brake test stand must be equipped with warning
light and warning sign on the brake test stand or even
marked by a protection barrier.

Projecting covers and the edges of the installation pit
for the roller set must be marked by the warning paint
(DIN 4844).

If the test stand is installed on the outside, the operating and
display device must be sufficiently protected from weather. The
test place should be roofed. Lateral walls of corresponding
lengths are recommended

The parts of the electrical system must be pro-
tected from moisture and wetness.
Danger to life!
Danger of electric shock!

If the test stand is used outdoors and in unprotected rooms, a
heating for the operating and display unit is absolutely necessary
in order to avoid condensation water.

Brake test stands to be installed above a working pit must
be operated only with safety devices (prescribed in the
Federal Republic of Germany).

By this, it is ensured that no persons can be in the area of revolving
vehicle and propeller shafts, vehicle wheels and test rollers.

It is absolutely necessary, that the cover (22) must
be mounted between the roller sets for operation
in a normal pit. Otherwise, there is the danger that
persons or vehicles can fall into the pit. Danger
of injury! -If operation is performed above the
working pit, this cover is not necessary.
