7.1.5 Dismantling the rotor
1.
Open the lid.
2.
Grab the red wheel on top of the rotor and turn it
counterclockwise while holding the rotor firmly. Once you hear
a “click” sound, the rotor is unlocked
3.
Grab and lift the rotor with both hands once it’s unlocked.
4.
Set the rotor on a flat surface or on one of NuAire’s rotor stand.
7.1.6 Limiting the duration of operation
The use of accessories and the rotors is limited in time to ensure the integrity of their mechanical strength.
These limits are marked on the accessories.

Control
When there is only 2,000 cycles left before the end
of the theoretical life time of the rotor, this screen
will be displayed. It shows the amount of cycles left
before the rotor should stop being used (rotor and
buckets). This value will decrease by 1 each time the
rotor is being used.
You can still use the centrifuge, but only as long as
the value is higher than 0. Anticipate the purchase of
a new set of rotor + buckets in the near future.
Once the rotor has reached the end of its theoretical
life time, the screen will inform you that the rotor
cannot be used.
The rotor and buckets are obsolete and have to be
replaced promptly. A certified technician has to
configure the centrifuge for the new rotor.
