2.2.4.3. Tripwire
This function allows you to set the detection of object crossing a virtual line.
To create the virtual line click on the DRAW LINE check box and by clicking left mouse button on
preview windows set start and end points for line. Try to place the line in the center of the image to
make it easier for the camera to detect the object.
To erase the line press CLEAR button.
To enable detection switch the TRIPWIRE field to ON and press the APPLY button. Enabling
tripwire detection will disable object detection or intrusion detection for the selected camera.
The DURATION filed specifies the length of time the camera remains in the alarm state after the
analysis event occurs. The next alarm from the analysis event will be triggered after the duration
alarm specified by this parameter.
LINE - selects one of four available virtual surfaces to draw a monitoring line. Event analysis will
take place from all lines simultaneously.
DIRECTION - Selects the direction of the object's transition to generate an alarm. You can select any
specific direction of transition or detect the object movement in any direction.
The LENGTH field specifies the length of time the camera remains in the alarm state after the
analysis event occurs.
