  GroupWise 7 Gateway for Lotus Notes Installation and Administration Guide

The Installation program creates domain subdirectories and copies Notes Gateway files to the 
subdirectories. This requires full file system rights to the domain directory.

Log in to eDirectory with Admin-equivalent rights to the eDirectory tree where the Domain 
object resides (

worksheet item 3

).

The Installation program creates a Gateway object under the Domain object.

Installing the Notes Gateway Software

Download the GroupWise Gateway for Lotus Notes from the 

Novell Product Downloads site 

(http://download.novell.com/filedist/pages/PublicSearch.jsp)

 into an empty directory.

Run setupnotes700.exe to extract the Notes Gateway files into the directory.

Run install.exe to start the Notes Gateway Installation program.

4

Click Next to view the license agreement, then click Accept to accept the license agreement.

5

Select GroupWise Gateway for Lotus Notes, then click Next.
