Accidents and Emergencies

Preventive measures

•

Always be prepared for possible accidents or fire

•

Keep a first aid kit within reach

•

Familiarise all personnel with the location and use of first-aid equipment, accident
notification procedures and procedures for alerting the emergency services

•

Keep access routes clear for emergency vehicles

In the event of an accident, proceed appropriately:

•

Shut down the equipment immediately by switching the power off

•

Begin first aid measures

•

Move persons out of the hazard zone

•

Inform the manager of the job site

•

Alert medical assistance and/or the fire brigade

•

Ensure that access routes are clear for emergency vehicles
