Perform a Control Solution Test
The Control Solution test confirms that the Meter and Test Strips 

are working correctly. A Control Solution test is similar to a blood 

test, except the Nova Max Pro Creat eGFR Control Solution is used 

instead of a blood sample.

When to Perform a Quality Control Test

•  Before using the Nova Max Pro Creat and eGFR Meter for the first 

time.

•  As required by your institution's quality control policy or local 

regulatory requirements.

•  If a patient test has been  repeated and the blood Creatinine results 

are still lower or higher than expected.

•  If there are other indications that the system is not working properly.

•  If you drop the meter.
