Trial
fit
your
wheel
pants
to
the
landing
gear
with
the
wheel
already
installed.
Note
there
is
a
left
wheel
pant
and
a
right
wheel
pant.
You
will
need
to
cut
a
vertical
slot
into
the
wheel
pant
and
plywood
insert
to
allow
the
wheel
to
slip
over
the
axle.
Note
you
will
also
need
to
make
the
opening
in
the
wheel
pant
for
the
wheels
larger
to
use
the
supplied
wheels.
Adjust
as
needed
until
the
wheel
pant
slips
on
easily
and
into
the
correct
position.
5.
Set
the
plane
on
its
wheels
and
adjust
the
angle
of
the
wheel
pants
so
that
the
wheel
pant
has
clearance
in
this
take
‐
off/landing
posture.
6.
Use
a
long
1/16”
drill
bit
and
drill
pilot
holes
into
the
wheel
pants
using
the
pre
‐
drilled
holes
in
the
landing
gear
as
a
guide.
Use
self
‐
taping
screws
to
lock
the
wheel
pants
in
place.
7.
Mount
the
tail
wheel
with
the
provided
hardware.
