Chapter 8 Advanced communications configuration

Make any changes to the following information:

•

Dial threshold – Enter the percentage of bandwidth that must be in use
before an additional interface can dial.

•

Hangup threshold – Enter the percentage of bandwidth below which an
interface hangs up.

•

Timeout – The number of minutes with no traffic before the interface
hangs up. A value of zero prevents the interface from timing out.

Click OK.

Configuring the modem speaker

To configure the modem speaker:

Click Advanced.

The Dialup Configuration (advanced) dialog box opens
