When you have the appropriate equipment, complete the following steps:
1.
Turn on and configure the terminal, using the parameters in
Table 1-3
and the terminal user guide.
2.
Turn off the terminal.
3.
Insert the 9-pin receptacle end of the console cable into the ARN Console
connector.
4.
Attach the null modem crossover adapter to the 25-pin connector.
Insert the screw on the cable connector into the receptacle on the adapter
connector and tighten the screw (refer to
Figure 1-20
on
page 1-24
).
5.
Attach the 25-pin receptacle connector on the combined cable and
adapter to the console host connector
