Maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication
procedures according to your plant maintenance
schedule or to the following intervals.
7 Days
Inspect inlet/outlet valve weep holes, hoses, metering
cylinders and fittings for leaks. Small amounts of
cylinders and fittings for leaks. Small amounts of
weepage may indicate a potential problem, but will not
affect dispensed material. Investigate and repair any
affect dispensed material. Investigate and repair any
weepage as soon as possible. Excessive leakage
caused by blown O-rings or loose fittings will affect

dispensed material and must be fixed immediately.
30 Days
Check air tubing and hoses for air leaks. Replace
damaged hoses, tubing, and connections if
necessary.
Check electrical connections for damage and wear.
Purge the old grease. Use Mobil SHC 100 synthetic
grease for the following procedure:
1. See Figure 5. Remove the front guards (1).
2. Remove the plug (3).
3. Install the grease fitting (2) to the cylinder. Attach a
grease gun to the grease fitting.
4. Pump grease until it flows from the top of the
packing cartridge and all of the old grease is
expelled.
5. Remove the grease gun from the grease fitting (2).
6. Remove the grease fitting (2) and install the
plug (3). Tighten the plug securely.
12 Months
Temperature Conditioning Ports:

Lubricate the ball screw assembly with Mobil SHC
100 synthetic grease:
1. See Figure 5. Depending upon the position of the
ball screw fitting (5), remove either the front (1) or
side (4) guard.
2. Attach a grease gun to the ball screw assembly
grease fitting (5) and lubricate the ball screw nut
bearing.
3. Remove the grease gun from the ball screw
assembly grease fitting (5). Wipe off excess
grease.
4. Install the applicable guard (1, 4).
