Proximity Sensor Adjustment

See Figure 15 and use the following procedure to adjust
a proximity sensor.

1. Remove the screws (2 or 7) securing the

cover (1 or 6).

2. Loosen the sensor nut (5 or 10).

3. With the drive assembly fully retracted, adjust the

sensors (3 or 8) to obtain a 0.04 in. (1mm) as shown.

4. Tighten the sensor nut (5 or 10) securely.

NOTE

Improperly adjusting the vertical position of
the proximity sensor may affect material
output performance.

5. If necessary, loosen the screws (4 or 9) to adjust the

vertical position of the proximity sensor.

6. Install the cover (1 or 6) using the screws (2 or 7).

Tighten the screws securely.
