Switch
Description
Follower in Drum (A)
When activated, switches Manual lowering mode to Automatic lowering mode. This switch is
not factory set. It must be set before the system is put into service.
Drum Empty (B)
Factory set to activate when the bottom of the follower is 1.5 inches from the drum support
rails. This switch can be adjusted to minimize material waste. Adjust this switch for drums
with the tallest seam height to ensure that the follower/platen does not bottom out before the
switch is activated. The pump will cavitate and may cause damage to the system if the
follower bottoms out.
