11. Rotate the air actuator counter

−

clockwise to remove it from the metering

cylinder housing.

CAUTION:

Do not attempt to disengage the air actuator from the carriage

by only rotating the air actuator rod via the wrench flat. The entire air

actuator must be rotated with the air actuator rod to prevent component

damage.

12. Remove flow control valve (1) from air actuator (if necessary).

NOTE:

It is possible to remove the flow control valve and flow control valve

bushing from the air actuator as an assembly.

13. Unscrew flow control valve bushing from flow control valve (if

necessary).

NOTE:

It is possible to remove the flow control valve and flow control valve

bushing from the air actuator as an assembly.
14. Remove cylinder position sensor from air actuator (if equipped). Refer to

Removal and Installation, Cylinder Position Sensor (page 10
