1. Remove metering cartridge assembly. Refer to 

Removal and Installation,

Metering Cartridge Assembly (page 10

27) 

for metering cartridge

assembly removal procedure.

NOTE:  

It is only necessary to remove the metering cartridge assembly

opposite the HMI pendant.
2. Disconnect electrical harness connector from cylinder position sensor.

CAUTION:

  Be careful not to kink or otherwise damage electrical harness

connector.

3. Remove fasteners (1) securing cylinder position sensor brackets to air

actuator.
