Remove and Clean the Burner Orifi ce
Clean the burner and the burner ori
fi
ce annually. To clean the
burner ori
fi
ce:
1. Close the valve at the vehicle propane gas tank(s).
2. Push and turn the gas control to the OFF ( ) position.
3. Open the lower intake vent.
4. Remove the burner box cover [165] by removing one (1) screw.
WARNING!To
avoid possible propane gas leaks, always use
two (2)wrenches to loosen and tighten the gas supply line at the 3/8 inch
male fl are fi tting.
5. Remove the
fl
are nut from the ori
fi
ce assembly [1].
6. Remove the ori
fi
ce assembly from the burner [2].
WARNING!
When cleaning, do not try to remove the orifi ce [3]
from the orifi ce adapter [4]. Removal will damage the orifi ce and can
cause a propane gas leak. Leaking propane gas can ignite or explode
and result in dangerous personal injury or death. Do not clean the orifi ce
with a pin or other objects.
7. Clean the ori
fi
ce assembly with air pressure and alcohol only.
Using a wrench, assemble the ori
fi
ce assembly to the burner.
Assemble the
fl
are nut to the ori
fi
ce assembly. Examine all of
the gas connections for leaks.

Selector Switch
The mode selector [292] changes the energy source of the
refrigerator between propane GAS ( ), AC electric (
), and
DC electric (
) (See Art02428).

AC Operation
The AC thermostat [293] controls the temperature setting of the
refrigerator when operating in AC electric mode. Number 5 is the
coldest temperature setting.
■
Gas Operation
The gas control [294] sets the temperature setting of the refrigera-
tor when operating in the GAS mode. To change the temperature
setting, push and turn the gas control to either the HI, MED, or the
LO position. HI is the coldest temperature setting.
NOTE:
This is not an automatic gas control. It does not change the
fl ame from high fi re to low fi re as other RV refrigerators. If the cooling
load changes, you must manually change the gas control to maintain the
same temperature inside the refrigerator.
