1- Connection instructions
- Make sure that the cables are located to prevent damage from closure of doors and engine
compartment covers
- Check the polarity of the battery posts. The POSITIVE (POS, P, +) battery post usually has a
larger diameter than the NEGATIVE (NEG, N, -) post
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions to remove any insulating cover on the battery terminals.
- Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the car battery.
- Connect the black negative (-) clamp to chassis or a fixed metal solid component of the vehicle or
to a part of the chassis.
- Never connect the clamp directly to the negative terminal of the battery or moving a parts.
- Always connect the connector cable and the signal cable before you start the car.
2- Temperature
- If the internal battery’s temperature is under -30°C (red and yellow flash together), this unit
will fail to work and could not be recharged. Move this unit to a warmer location and allow it to
warm up before attempting to use or recharge it.
- If the temperature of the internal battery e 55 ° C, (red and green light flash together),
this unit will fail to work and could not be recharged. Move this unit to a cooler location and allow it
to cool down before attempting to use or recharge it.
3- LCD DISPLAY
- The LCD displays the percentage of charge of the internal battery of the device.
- When connected to a Lead acid battery, if the battery
voltage is over 2V, LCD will indicate its
parallel voltage(internal battery and vehicle battery).
- After each jump-start, the unit will cool down itself. The LCD will display the left cooling time in
seconds.
- The screen will display the following error messages:
F01: internal battery is too weak to supply power to LED light and USB output
F02: internal battery’s temperature is too low to supply power to LED light and USB output.
F03: internal battery’s temperature is too high to supply power to LED light and USB output
Under Test mode, LCD will display the test result about Alternator or Battery testing (depending on
the option)
