MAINTENANCE
The location of the adjustment device for
Battery version, is as shown in the figure.
To carry out the adjustment, loosen the lock
nut "
A
" and turn the adjusting nut "
B
".
Check the correct tightening, operating the
traction control lever.
BATTERY CONTROL AND RECHARGE
Please perform a periodical control of the
electrolyte level inside the battery. Lift the
bonnet and open the cells caps. If necessary,
fill up the cells with distilled water.
The electrolyte level has to be roughly 10 ÷ 15
mm over the electrode.
After filling up, close the cells with the caps
and clean the upper surface of the battery.
Warning: Be extremely careful ! The battery’s
liquid is corrosive. If it comes in contact with
the skin or the eyes, wash repeatedly with
water and consult a doctor.
When necessary, recharge the battery in
compliance with the following instructions:
- turn off the machine by means of the main
key;
- lift the bonnet;
- disconnect the connector of the battery from
the machine;
- recharge has to be performed in a properly
ventilated area;
- open all caps of the cells (or elements) of the
battery;
