See Figure 2. Remove cover “B” from the vacuum motor.

Remove the black plastic cover from the end of the vacuum motor.

Remove one of the brush holders and remove the carbon brush from the motor.

7

Measure the length of the brush. Replace both brushes if it is 3/8 inch (10 mm) or shorter.

Reassemble in reverse order and test for proper operation.
