HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Symptom

Possible cause

All hydraulic functions sluggish

Engine not operating in high idle or
engine idle too slow.

Wheel drive in one direction only

Inspect propulsion pump relief valves for
damaged or broken springs, valve held off
seat, damaged valve or excessive system
pressure.

Main broom, side broom and

Check if front gear circuit is exceeding

impeller do not operate

2500PSI.  Check relief valve in relief block.

No wheel drive in either direction

Check that bypass valve is in correct
position.  Check operation of foot pedal
to propulsion pump arm.
