1. Using a multimeter, always check the voltage between the terminals first:
Between terminals …
The following voltage must be present
a and b
24 Vdc
b and P
26 Vdv
M and P
20 … 27 Vdc
M and V1 or V2
3 … 6 Vdc
2. If the problem with the device is not solved, then go through the following list of possible problems:

Solution
You can hear a negative tone on the
external unit.
There is an error in the programming.
Erase the programming and start again.
The system is still in programming mode.
Exit the programming mode.

Check the wiring against the wiring diagram.
The image on the internal video unit is
unclear.
Conductors V1 and V2 have been reversed.
Reverse conductors V1 and V2.
Incorrect cable:
• the cable distance is too great
• the cable cross-section is too small
• the cable is not a twisted pair cable
Replace the current cable with a suitable cable.
The internal units are not connected in series (line in

Install the internal unit as shown in the wiring
diagram (fig. 1).
No image appears on the internal video
unit. The other functions are working
properly.
The wiring is not correctly configured:
• M or P is missing
• V1 or V2 are not connected
Check the wiring (fig. 1).
The jumpers are not correctly configured.
Position the jumpers correctly on the contacts
(see connection and (dis)assembly).
