6.3. Programming with the service set
To assign the internal video unit to a bell push button
as a first or second device
, check the manual of the power supply (10-80X) or the service unit (10-870).
To assign the internal video unit to a bell push button
as a third or fourth device
, connect the device in parallel (as a slave) with another internal unit.
Tip
: For easy programming, it is recommended that you attach the serial numbers of all internal and external units that are part of the installation onto the wiring
diagram. The serial numbers can be found on the packaging and on the device. The serial number of this internal unit can be found inside the upper frame.
1. Connect the service unit to the external unit using terminals a, b and P, or using the designated connector.
2. Enter the key combination onto the service unit depending on the type of action you wish to perform.
Attention
: Only one of the four functions (90, 91, 92 or 93) per internal video unit can be programmed.

6.4. Assigning a ring tone to a specific bell push button
It is possible to set a different ring tone per internal unit for up to 5 bell push buttons. That is because the internal unit will also react to the four serial numbers
that follow its own serial number. When a call comes in, you can thus hear who it is for or where the call is being made from (e.g. practice-private, parents-
grandparents, etc.)
Program the installation with the service device (10-870) as follows:
