remove the lamp from the floor bell push button in order to prevent the bell push
button from continuously using power.
You can choose from 6 different ring tones for the internal unit. Set the selector switch
(A fig.5) to ‘OFF’ and immediately back to ‘ON’ to select another ring tone. Briefly press
the blue function key 1. The red and green LEDs light. Set selector switch (A fig.5) back
to ‘OFF’. Press the blue function key once again in order to hear the first ring tone. With
each renewed press on the blue function key 1, you hear the next ring tone. If both LEDs
go out (after ±8s.), the last heard ring tone is set.
Controlling the light switch relay from the internal units
With a 10-501, if you also wish to use the relay provided on the power supply module, you
must first program it. The programming is described in detail in the manual of the relevant
power supply. The operation will be as follows:
If the receiver is on hook, function key 1 switches the light source.
If the receiver is off hook, function key 1 switches the door opener.
Connecting (max.) two internal units in parallel on one bell push-button.
All external units (except those of the series of surface mounting external units 16mm) allow two
internal units to be manually connected in parallel on one bell push-button. The programming
to be used for this purpose is described in the manual of the relevant power supply.
If also the floor bell push-button has to be used in parallel, it must be connected as follows:
