7. MOUNTING
7.1. Requirements regarding the location of the installation
• Harmful ambient conditions might reduce the lifespan or cause malfunctions.
• Do not mount the camera module in locations exposed to rain or direct sunlight. Water droplets on the dome of the camera could be detrimental to the image quality.
Do not mount and use the camera module in locations:
• which are very dusty or dirty,
• with a lot of water or oil vapour (e.g. in a kitchen),
• exposed to direct sunlight,
• with an unsuitable ambient temperature (see technical data),
• with powerful sources of radiation (e.g. X-radiation, radio transmitter or magnetic fields),
• with corrosive gases or salt water.
7.2. Flush-mounting position
Observe the flush-mounting position. The arrow on the nameplate must point upwards.
