scan channels
The channel scan feature allows you to scan all channels for
broadcast traffic. You can also scan the sub channels of a
channel in order to identify the specific sub channel of the
broadcast traffic.
To scan main channel:
1. Press MODE until SCAN is displayed.
2. Press + or - keys to begin scanning the main channels.
The unit will scan all main channels and stop on a channel
where broadcast traffic is detected. Once traffic is found, you
have 10 seconds to do one of the following:

Press TALK to begin broadcasting on that channel.
¥
Press + or - keys to continue scanning other main channels.
¥
Proceed to sub channel scan to identify the specific sub
channel of the broadcast.
