8.2.10 Dioptric tester jig (30670-6000)

1 . Remove the measuring unit left cover (30601-M707)

(see 6.1 [p63])

2 . Attach the chinrest attachment jig (32107-1100)

(see 8.2.5 [p111])

3 . Attach the dioptric tester jig (30670-6000)

to the chinrest attachment jig (32107-
1100).

* Fasten the jig with the fastening pin

(32177-M513).

4 . Disconnect P104 (J4) on the applicable

main board below, then connect the con-
nector of the diopter tester jig (30670-
6000) to P104 (J4) on the main board.

1 ) AR-310A: 30601-BA01P
2 ) AR-330A: 30602-BA01P
3 ) AR-360A: 30603-BA01P
4 ) ARK-510A: 30701-BA01P
5 ) ARK-530A: 30702-BA01P
6 ) ARK-560A: 30703-BA01P

5 . Enter MENU mode, and select 10.

CHART CALIBRATION

(see 8.1.1 [p103])

* The screen to the right differs from

those in the AR-360A and ARK-560A.

6 . Make the chart test jig (30670-2300) level

by aligning the marking-off line to the tar-
get using the dovetail goniostage (30670-
M075).

7 . Turn the turret plate (30670-M071) of the

dioptric tester jig ASSY (30670-6000) to
select the model eye convex lens (32527-
G001).

8 . Perform alignment of the model eye con-

vex lens (32527-G001) so that the focus-
ing indicator displays the optimum
condition.

9 . Fasten the measuring unit with the locking

lever.

* Fasten the unit while the focusing indi-

cator is in the optimum condition.
