7.3.14 Chart LED (30601-EA76)

Replacement part: 30601-EA76

1 . Remove the covers

(see Section 6 [p63])

2 . Disconnect P1406 (J6) on the sensor carry board (30601-BA14).
3 . Replace the chart LED (30601-EA76) with

a pair of tweezers.

4 . Reassemble the parts in the reverse order.

5 . Use the steps below to adjust the LED intensity when the previous chart LED (30601-

EA76A) of the devices with serial numbers earlier than those shown in the following table is
replaced with the new one (30601-EA76B).

Identify the chart LED as follows:

a . The cable color of the previous

chart LED (30601-EA76A) is
black and white.

b .

The cable color of the new
chart LED (30601-EA76B) is
black and red.

3 )

Enter MENU mode, and select 7. LED ADJUST MODE

(see 8.1.1 [p103])

4 )

Press the up

or down

ton, and select the bottommost
numeric value from the first column.

5 )

Press the left -

or right +

but-

ton to change the numeric value
from 170 to 135.

6 )

Press the SAVE button to save the
setting.
