3. Pumped Parallel
Similar to the previous installation option, the
fluid cooler is installed in parallel with the water
source heat pump. The biggest change is the
fluid cooler now requires the internal pump
option and is now piped so the outlet of the
fluid cooler and heat pump is on a common line.
The fluid cooler monitors a signal from the heat
pump and will turn on the circulating pump. If
conditions are favorable for heat rejection the
fan runs at the appropriate speed.

Figure 4.
